Less waiting. More doing.
Bring everyday power requests closer to the people doing the work. Start with environments that have a clear owner and a real off-hours window.

Schedule standalone Windows or Linux VMs around working hours. Check storage, capacity and restart requirements before automating shutdown.
One setup. A better handoff.
An administrator connects the cloud account and selects the resources. Start with one environment and confirm who owns it.
Set the start and stop schedule. Logical groups let you schedule related resources together.
Give the intended teammate a link for the designated action. They can use it without signing in to the cloud provider.

A few useful details
An individual VM Action Link can be used without a cloud-console login. An administrator still connects and authorizes VMPower. Anyone with a valid link may be able to use its action, so treat the URL as a credential.
The Action Links described here target individual VMs. Logical groups support scheduling related resources. Confirm ordered startup, dependencies and application health separately before relying on a multi-VM workflow.
Stopping eligible on-demand compute can reduce its running-time charges. Storage, network addresses, licenses, reserved capacity and committed spend may continue to cost money. Compare the actual bill with your VMPower fee.
Start with non-production VMs whose owners have confirmed an off-hours window and tested recovery. Check temporary storage, network addresses and available capacity. Keep always-on services, scarce GPU capacity and untested dependencies outside automatic shutdown.
Compare the workflow you already have with what your team needs. VMPower is worth considering when people need designated VM actions and administrators want to manage schedules across supported cloud accounts.
